Family

I made this card for a special friend who was feeling a little down. I used a cardmaking program to apply the corners and sentiment. The butterfly is clipart that I printed on photo paper and then decoupaged. The motif is a combination of cardstock on the back, a doily, Teabag motif and then a quilled rose. I added the quilled flowers to the corners.

Hope you enjoy today's card.

Have a wonderful and happy day!

Mother's day Slide card

Good Morning,
Todays project is a Mother's day card with quilled roses.

(I LOVE THIS SITE!). I used a 3" scallop for the medallion. I cut the vase from gold paper and quilled the roses wit 3/4" quilling strips from www.quillingsuperstore.com, the message was printed on glossy photo paper using my greetingcard software.
Hope you like it.

First Post

Hello all,
This is my first blog post. Welcome! I wanted to create a blog to share my cards and where the ideas originated.

I made this card for a special friend. I found the instructions on http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/suspension_card/ . This site has amazing tutorials listed for alot of techniques that I have never tried. This is my favorite site for ideas. I quilled the flowers using 3/4" strips of paper and a fringer.

I would love to hear from other crafters.
